thank you, thank you...

first of all.........thank you for all your thoughts & prayers and well wishes.  i'm trying to rest and relax as much as possible.

this week, SRM is sponsoring the newest Card Patterns sketch, so i thought i'd play along.  i don't usually use sketches, as they seem to limit my creativity, rather than inspire it.  which i know is rather odd since so many paper crafters seem to love them.

the card is based on sketch 56 from the Card Patterns blog:

what i do love about sketches when i do use them is that they can be loosely interpreted and tweaked. as you can see i rotated the sketch 90 degrees to the left to create my thank you card.

the card is featuring the Thank You Sticker Sentiments from SRM.  dreamy, dreamy stickers, i'll tell ya.  they go on so crisp and clean giving you the look of a rub-on without the hassle.

if you can't find these stickers at your local scrapbook store, you can buy them online by clicking here.

check out the Card Patterns blog to be inspired by other cards following the same sketch.....and play along too!  SRM is offering a very generous prize package to one random person that links a project back to the Card Patterns sketch.  Details on how to participate are on the blog.

  2. That is the cutest card EVER, Tania! I ADORE that monkey! And those vines ROCK! Did you paper-piece the monkey or is it a sticker, cut-out, what? LOL!

I have similar heart issues. Mine with PVC's (premature ventricular contraction), but your story sounds so similar. And, yes, I think stress is the biggest contributing factor, among others. Hope things settle down for you soon. Your health matters just as much as everyone else's! You have to be well to take care of everyone!

    Big hugs... :-)
