We have the exact same issue here - we have a finished basement with almost 700 square feet of playroom - it's gorgeous down there, but I don't think my kids have played in there for almost a year. Sigh.

We've already told them that we're selling all of the stuff in a garage sale in the fall and they just shrug their shoulders. So, it's gone, believe me!Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03027559240535149697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12485874.post-21366741916308478252008-07-14T11:10:00.000-04:002008-07-14T11:10:00.000-04:00As homeschoolers, we have had school rooms off and...As homeschoolers, we have had school rooms off and on and I have found the same thing to be true: no one wants to use it for school! So we have a dining room in our house that I have completely taken over with scrapbooking stuff. No guilt because I have already learned that I'm the only one who appreciates having a room dedicated to my stuff. :) Sooooo...take it over!! I can't wait to hear what you decide!staceykingmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05547430092116815141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12485874.post-85807283196611184732008-07-13T16:58:00.000-04:002008-07-13T16:58:00.000-04:00Oh man! I don't allow much in the way of toys in the main living areas of the house - aside from a set of blocks I keep in the game closet, or board games -, so the kids have to play in their rooms, outside, or in the garage. Which, now that I'm organizing it, is becoming off limits. I always think they'd love to have a playroom.Petrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13511104697621613789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12485874.post-49075090830802050392008-07-11T21:22:00.000-04:002008-07-11T21:22:00.000-04:00Giant Yard sale. My kiddos have toy boxes, drawers, bins and bags --- yet it all ends up on the living room floor, on the kitchen table, on the computer desk, in the floor -- everywhere but the boxes, drawers, bins and bags.sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00639351083034186113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12485874.post-63749252612919432702008-07-11T11:11:00.000-04:002008-07-11T11:11:00.000-04:00I don't know girlie - seems like a really great pl...I don't know girlie - seems like a really great playroom! Is it big enough? Do you play WITH them IN the room? Do you care if they have a playroom or not?

I would take it over - if it's more conducive to scrapping, I say go for it.Allyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02116748329593717640noreply@blogger.com
