"JESUS, is in my heart!"
i've never seen this girl more excited about anything in my life. i was out one evening a few weeks back, not sure what i was doing---grocery shopping most likely, and i came home to this wonderful announcement from ashlyn.
and due to my failing memory, i can't quite remember what brought on the conversation between her and daddy, but she was (and always has been) very inquisitive about Jesus and Heaven. so they had a little conversation---one that i'm jealous i didn't get to experience.
but the coolest thing ever was her telling it back to me and that she understands that Jesus was sent to be her Savior.
later in the evening she was prancing around the livingroom, giddy with excitement over the whole evening and out of nowhere she stopped dead in her tracks and said
"aahhhhhhh, mommy!"
what babe.
"Jesus, just talked to me!"
really? what did he say?
"He said he believed me."
oh, to have that sweet child-like faith.
That is just the sweetest thing ever, Tania!!! And your daughter is just adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteI have Jesus in my heart too! I love the sweet innocent faith of a sweet child! Maybe this is why Jesus told us to be child like!
