In Loving Memory.

ANNOUNCING..........my next class, starting April 9 at Get It Scrapped!

In Loving Memory (<----click here to register!)
During this 5-week course (one session per week) I will help spur you on to create an album dedicated to a loved one you have lost, all the while encouraging you to be gentle on yourself through the process. I will provide prompts and challenges to help you get your thoughts in order and onto the page, as well as suggestions for selecting photos and how to overcome the dilema of not having many photos at all. In addition, page sketches will be offered and a variety of embellishment techniques will be taught along the way.

What better way to complete a treasured project than in the company of a supportive teacher who is on her own journey of remembrance after losing her mom very suddenly and unexpectedly the summer of 2007. “It’s scrapbooking as a healing therapy, not just art.”

SPREAD THE NEWS! Registration is now OPEN. Class fee is $25.

  1. I know I absolutely want to do this. I'm not sure if I'm ready though :( What is the cost and how does it work? I mean what if I miss a class or something?

Also, on a side note, you never cease to amaze me :)

  3. Hi Tania, My sister lost her daughter a few months ago. I saw your class "In Loving Memory" She does not have a computer, but I could download any directions and material you have available. Do you think that would be enough for her to do it, or would it be too difficult without watching any videos you have available?? As you can imagine it has been an incredible difficult time, and I thought this might be helpful in process all the feelings she is experiencing.

    Thanks!

  4. Loretta,
thank you sweetie! to answer your questions, tomorrow on the blog, i'll be posting a frequently asked Q&A on the blog. stay tuned. i think that tomorrow's post will clarify everything for you. if not, then email me. and i know you're probably not ready.....but really, honestly, i think that everyone thinks they are just not ready----even after 10-15 years, i find people still saying that. thus the reason the class was born. :0) i promise to hold your hand every step of the way. OR wait for you when you are ready. you know where to find me. (((HUGS)))

hi mary. i'm so sorry for the loss of your neice. your sister could absolutely do this class using only the PDF files. there are no videos in this class, just the PDFs and interaction in the private forums. if she has any hang-ups or questions or just wants someone to chat with for support through the process, i would encourage her to use her local library to get on the internet, if only to email me with her questions. hope that helps answer your concern. it would be a lovely gift for her that's she'd absolutely cherish.

  5. Tania, I have been looking forward to this class for awhile now. This "daddy's girl" lost her whole world 9 years ago next month. God has brought healing and peace, but it still hurts. Some days it seems like it was just yesterday, and other days it feels like it was several lifetimes ago.
