it's so perfectly called Tiny Princess. :)
straight from the Little Yellow Bicycle website:
the Tiny Princess collection, featuring original art from Sharon Ann, blends captivating pinks, purples, blues and greens with whimsical critters and adorable goodies. The perfect scrapbooking backdrop for the fairytale of your little princess.
it's the perfect collection to light the fire within me to finally get more baby pictures of my girls into my albums. and i'll start with this one!

i couldn't resist adding some love into the layout in the form of handstitching. *sigh* what will i ever do if DMC stops making embroidery floss!?
i often get asked how i decide on where the stitching on my layouts will go. it's always the very last thing i add to any layout, so i just look for lines or spots that need a little extra pop. it's usually along a border.

so, for this layout, i decided that the glossy grey border around the outline of the page just wasn't enough oomph for what i wanted, so i added hand-stitches all the way around. i did the same up there in the image above around the 4 month journaling spot.
here's a peek at more of my favorite pieces from the collection with some card samples to follow. but you can see the entire collection by clicking here.
such an adorable collection, right!? i think it's such a fresh take on the princess theme.
thanks for stopping by today! i'll have more layouts to share tomorrow! TGIF!
