As a nature/bird lover I really like this idea. The bird die makes the perfect tag too. Am I right to assume that after the 24 to 48 hour drying time that it's no longer sticky so that's how you're able to wrap it in the burlap?
ReplyDeleteTona, yep....no longer sticky! Awesome, yes? Really the dry time is closer to 24 hours than the 48, but if you're in a more humid climate it does take a bit longer. Because my molds were so deep, I just kept flipping them over every 6 hours so they would dry evenly. I've had these done for a few months and they are still holding together strong (haven't crumbled) and haven't gone soft either. :)
