Welcome to the RG Celebra'tions Blog Hop!

This week the RG Make Amazing Design Team is featuring some amazing projects with Richard Garay's Celebra'tions Collection! Each day a different designer will be featured on his blog so be sure to stop by there as well. It starts HERE.

He has new fun elements that have been added to the Celebra'tions collection and are showcasing at CHA next month! Who gets to go and see them in person??? I'm so jealous of you if you are! But, I digress.

If you haven't seen the Be Amazing Collection that his team shared last week, you'll definitely want to check out this post HERE.

In Richard's words "This Celebra'tions collection is filled with color and hooray! The opportunity to celebrate that special moment and bring paper to life with yummy designs, amazing textures and an inviting color pallete is what makes this collection something to celebrate about!"

And you can see from this card that I've created using only supplies and dies from the Celebra'tions collection that it is exactly that....filled with color and hooray! :)

To create this card:
1. First die-cut the Celebra'tions Happy Birthday Die (SCD-034) out of four different colors of Celebra'tions cardstock.
2. Cut portions of three of them apart, such as the flowers/flower petals, and elephant and ink around the edges using a sponge pounced onto the ink pad then brushed against the edges of the cardstock.
3. Adhere flowers to yellow die-cut using foam dimensional squares.
4. Adhere flower centers using foam squares, apply glaze and ultra fine glitter.
5. Add extra layer of scalloped strip to each side.
6. Back the entire piece with white cardstock to add some contrast and make the colors pop.
7. Tie Celebra'tions Natural Linen Thread (SCT001) around center of die-cut piece.
8. Mount entire die-cut piece to the folded card base.
9. Splatter with Cool Carribean Silk Luster.

What do you think?!
