RG Lumberjack Days Blog Hop

Hi friends, If you're looking for the Season's Givings Blog Hop, please scroll down one post.

*********

The lumberjack fashion is in full swing and this collection is no exception. With a romantic flair and a fashion forward style, this collection brings the great outdoors into your craft room for a warm and cozy feeling. With masculine designs and a feminine twist, you can bring paper to a whole new level of lumberjack days.

I created two cards to share with you today featuring the gorgeous texture of the Pine Needles Embossing Folder that is in the collection. It is a nice companion to the texture of the Knitted Pattern that is being offered in the giveaway this week.  What is also so fabulous about the stamps in the collection is that the matching dies are coupled right along with them in the same package....how awesome is that!?

Anywho....here is a sneak at the Lumberjack Days collection.  You're sure to get a wonderful taste of what the collection entails by clicking through the hop to see how each of the designers have used various pieces of the collection.

Here's how I worked my magic with it....isn't this Lumberjack the coolest!?  I love how using a different variety of coloring mediums can make him look so very different. I'm sure you'll see another version or two of him along the way.

Isn't that Pine Needles texture AMAZING!?!?  I looooooooove it!

I've used it here again on this card, but first I stamped the 'forest of trees, but repeating the same stamp (a set of three trees) three times at varying heights, then I overstamped that again in the same color ink to give it some depth and made it look like a dimensional forest.  After stamping I ran the entire piece through with the Pine Needles Embossing folder. However, the texture is harder to see in a photo on cream colored cardstock.  But in person, it is just as lovely as the grey is in the card above.

And now here's the exciting part.....the part where you can win some of this amazing collection for yourself!  Oooooooooooh. Aaaaaaaaaah.  Isn't it pretty?
