our countdown to christmas. each day after they go to bed a note is slipped in the appropriate sock for them to read in the morning, revealing a surprise for the day. simple things like visiting COSI, driving to see lights, snuggling for a family movie night, making cookies, etc.

recycling broken crayons to make rainbox crayons. super easy. unwrap crayons, cut into 1/4" pieces, fill muffin tins, bake at 170 degree for 20-25 minutes (until melted), remove from oven to cool. after cool, place in freezer for 1 minute to help them release from tin. voila! rainbow crayons.
