she's alive....

whew.
have you wondered where i've been?
no one has been hounding me about not posting----i fear you've all given up on me by now.
let's face it.
i'm a terrible blogger.

i generally don't have too much exciting to talk about.......other than the silly antics of the girls.
they are starting to become quite the little buds. it's cute to watch.

sooooooooo,
march was vicious but i made it through.
AND THE BOOK IS DONE!!!!
yipee!
it should be hot off the press by now and on it's way to me.
and i can't wait to see it. i share pictures of the cover as soon as it arrives.

i got a little off track in march taking pictures. i lost a whole week of picture taking for some reason or another. don't know what happened there. and missed a few other days here and there. but i'm back on track now.

so here's the rundown for the rest of march.....

the girl looooooooves to paint, color, draw, create, you name it.....if it's art she loves it.

waaaaaaaaaay too many late nights in the studio lately.
yes, almost 3 AM. i've got deadlines ya know.

doug coached ash through making lasagna all by herself.
awesome sensory therapy for her with all the different textures and her focusing on one task for an extended amount of time.

she wanted to make a rainbow, so make a rainbow we did.

ahhhhhh, bliss. both asleep before 830pm. the time change got the best of them.

lost this week of my life in photos......don't know what happened.

rainy day? why not rollerskate in the house? emma is pretty darn good at it.

so ya'll know about emma's obsession with fuzz right? well, now she's started pulling the cotton off the end of several q-tips until she gets enough to make her happy. or she just loosens the fuzz and tickles her nose with the end of the q-tip. her comfort when she's tired or hurt. silly, eh?

ash. totally into washing dishes and mopping the floor lately. i'll take it.

a friend's birthday party at chuck e cheese. she was such a big girl and an awesome big sister this day. the first day since starting therapy that i stood back and watched her and thought to myself, wow, this stuff really is starting to make a difference. miracles happen afterall.

do you see this? something we struggle with on a daily basis.........to the point that it interrupts our lives. ashlyn obessively "organizes" and no one can enter her room to see it or touch it---not even me just for a second to put her clean clothes away. if i do and she catches me she has a major meltdown about it. she fears that it will get "messed up". hoping for another miracle with this too.
