our japanese snow goose we planted in the front yard blossoming....which didn't last but a week due to freezing temperatures.

round 1 of coloring easter eggs. emma couldn't just drop the egg in and leave it there....thus the reason for her hands being dyed moreso than the eggs. haaha.

a little package of handmade goodness i made for a friend.

the neverending source for fun during bathtime for the littles, leads to the ever growing frustration of the bigs trying to take a shower without breaking a leg.

found this little gem on my camera after leaving miss em in the care of suziQ while i took ash to a therapy appointment. she's one cool babysitter, eh? i'm just glad i didn't have to clean up the mess.

ash taking time to sit still and lace together some pieces from a lacing card set she got from grams for christmas (i *think*). all her own idea. we are making progress.
later that evening, round 2 of coloring eggs delivered me my own little smurf.

ashlyn's favorite thing to do during emma's naptime lately is to hoard all the playdoh and make playdoh cookies with sprinkles.

Easter day, bundled in winter coats, scarves, gloves and ear warmers. crazy.

*sigh* this is what you call organized chaos. if you look close you'll notice that there is a rhyme or reason to what i call a mess in ashlyn's bedroom. she obsessively organizes and lines like-items together....all the time.

she's gonna be on iron chef in 20 years. wanna bet? seriously, though. i was measuring out the often requested pancakes for dinner when the phone rang. caller ID said it was pinecone press----couldn't ignore that one. walked in the livingroom for no more than 10 seconds to grab the phone and returned to finish adding the ingredients for the pancakes and found this little stinker.

have ya'll heard of ugly dolls? they are all the rage, but cost a small fortune to buy, so i raided ashlyn's stash of goodness and made this cutie while watching a movie with suzi. a great way to stay awake for someone who has a habit of fall asleep during movies.

so ashlyn's birthday was *coughcough3monthsagocoughcough* and i was in anaheim at the tradeshow. then came back and was immersed in the final stages of the book, and, and, and....so we never had a "real" party for her and she hadn't let me forget. so we had a girly weekend. we spent the morning at libby lu's getting makeovers, then took a jaunt to spagetti warehouse, then to the bowling alley. yes, the little miss bowled in her entire princess get-up. what a hoot! then we came home for a short rest before heading to papa's to raid the hottub, karaoeke and eat cake. emma enjoyed eating the candle first though--nope, not edible sweetcheeks, it's wax.....silly kid.
