are YOU ready for Christmas!?

i'm most certainly NOT. not at all. but i'd be lying if i said that i didn't have the itch to put up the tree and sip some tea in my cozy pj's with nothing but the white twinkling lights and some nostalgic tunes ringing in my ears.

but.........sharyn says i need to celebrate the turkey first. she's right. i mean, really i do want to put the tree up, but at the same time i'm thoroughly annoyed that i am bombarded with Christmas music and overcrowded shelves, and ringing bells, and impatient people bustling about every time i go to the store. and that started Nov. 1. really. did we forget to be Thankful, over the past year, or has it always started so early? my memory fails me.

speaking of Sharyn. she's gearing up to teach a FABULOUS class over at debbiehodge.com called Souvenirs of the Season.
This year make your holiday scrapbook pages about more than the photos. In
"Souvenirs of the Season" Sharyn Tormanen will show you what to gather and
how to incorporate your "souvenirs of the season"--from gift cards to wrapping
paper, holiday programs, postage stamps, special recipes and more—into your
albums. Learn how to connect holiday mementos to the stories of your celebrations and get them onto pages that you’ll treasure now and in the future.
ya'll already know how much i adore Sharyn. i've been a long-time fan of her blog and humor. she shares such a real perspective on everyday life, and has a knack for sharing stories in a way that makes you feel like you were/are right there with her as it is happening. her blog, Live from Tormville is my daily morning stop on the net and i always walk away encouraged and inspired.

i also have the pleasure of working with Sharyn on design teams and such and i know that she won't disappoint! so, GO NOW..........sign up and walk away this season with a little extra joy in your pocket knowing you can savour the memories of the Season.......today, tomorrow and many, many more years from now! (click up there on Souviners of the Season to get all the nitty gritty)

you can thank me later.

PS.......all register who register by midnight this Friday, Nov 21 get a 20% off coupon at IdeaBooks4U.com AND have a chance to win a copy of "Sharing Your Story" by Ali Edwards.
