phew. taking the night off!

Photobucket
do i have any readers left after yesterday? i really wish i had a cute bunny picture to share. will a cute easter card work just as well?

i've been in the studio every single day since Thanksgiving, but for the last two weeks, i've been in there pretty much every waking moment (that i wasn't at my other job), with small breaks to shower, eat and switch over the laundry. it's been my routine to get up, shower, get ready, get 2 kids ready, breakfast made, lunches packed, kids dropped off, back home to work in the studio for 2 1/2 hours, then off to work for 5 hours, then back home to eat dinner and work in the studio until, oh........midnight or 1AM. i LOVE it, i really do-----or i would've quit a long time ago. BUT, i need a night off.

in the past 5 days, i've made 14 layouts and 2 cards for karen foster and 3 layouts and 4 cards for Little Yellow Bicycle, and some class samples. tomorrow i'll be back at it again for Little Yellow Bicycle. and i need to fit some photography time aside for my class as well.

i wish i could share all this work. i'm probably revealing too much even with a peek of that stack that's heading out in the mail today. i promise i'll share as soon as i'm given the green light.

i became quite obsessed with my new toy. i bought myself a Cuttlebug machine, strictly for the embossing capabilities. well, actually grandma bought it for me, since i used the money she gave me for Christmas. (thank you Grandma!) mmmmmmmm, the texture from those embossing folders is fabulous! i'm kicking myself for not investing in one two years ago. but that's me. don't have to have the latest greatest, frugal as all get out and just make do with what i have.

anywho.
so, tonight, i'll be resorting to my "catch-up the piles of clean, but not yet folded" laundry folding method. i've already sorted them this way three times in the last seven days, but somehow (ahem) they are all mixed back up again. might have something to do with the fact that we have every single sheet and pillow case in the house sitting in those piles among the clothes. don't know why that would be..........uhhhhhhhhh. mr. pink eye.

yes. we've been obsessive about changing sheets & pillowcases daily. 'cause ain't nobody gonna want to get his cooties. hahahahaa.

here's to taking the night off, folding laundry and maybe going to sleep before 1AM.
happy friday!

  2. You are one talented lady. I love our style. Great work and I am a frugal scrapbooker like you and only just got a CB last year but I LOVE mine also. I am now coveting a SLICE machine because I like the size & it isnt as expensive as a Circuit. Great work Tania! check out the Fiskateer blog for some cards using your brads that I won!!

  6. Tania, you certainly do deserve a night off. You have been working at a break-neck speed and it looks like your work is fabulous. Hope the Pink eye clears up fast and none of the other members of the family come down with it. I am looking forward to meeting you sometime and also seeing all your great work.

  8. First, when you are allowed, I MUST know WHAT has that awesome hummingbird on it!
I took forever to break down and get my own embossing folders. Aren't they amazing!
Breaks are good and keep us sane. Of course, laundry folding doesn't sound like much of a break to me...
