have you ever been so sick you felt like you didn't have the energy to take another breath?
that's the kind of sick i've been. a nasty case of the flu (confirmed by my doctor) complicated by my heart condition. i didn't even *think* of getting a flu shot. trust me, never again will i go without getting that shot every year. i didn't know that the flu could make you feel so completely miserable.
i think i might be turning the corner though, but i'm still completely exhausted and coughing up a lung.
i went in to work today for a few hours since i haven't been there in a week. i need to work myself back gradually----and mainly so i don't end up with pneumonia from laying around so much. they kindly said, "don't come back until monday" when i left. so i guess i'm heading back to bed for another 3 days.
i'm sorry to have everyone so worried about me. i just haven't had the energy to exsist, let alone type up a blog entry. i feel loved that so many are worried over my health.
thank you for your prayers and concern. maybe one more good nights rest will have me back to my creative, blogging self. maybe.
i HOPE so. i'm SO ready to get on with life and be well.
thanks to all my students for understanding my absense. and a HUGE thank you to my husband who has done everything in his power to let me rest without having to worry about cooking or cleaning or tending to children---without complaining once. i'm a lucky girl.
Glad you're getting some rest!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself and don't overdue it.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that you might be rounding that corner.....get lots of rest and don't try to come back too fast.....we'll still be here!

ReplyDeleteI glad to hear you are doing better! Continue with the rest and hope to see you blogging again soon.
ReplyDeleteTania, I have been really thinking about you and was so glad to see your blog entry today. I hope you continue to improve more and more each day. Don't forget to vicks your feet at night.......helps with that cough.
ReplyDeleteLet me see here-we want to avoid pneumonia-this is good. So we get up and walk around the house a little, sit down when we're tired, walk a little more-this is a good idea. Or we go to work-hmmm this does not sound like a good idea. What will Tania do?Tune in maybe Saturday or Sunday because Tania went to work and overdid and now feels like crap again. Listen to your nanas and Grandma!
ReplyDeleteYou poor dear. I am glad to hear you are getting better.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you coming out of it...hope you are even better now.
ReplyDeleteIck! I hope you heal quickly... get plenty of rest!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are on the mend, girl. I'm still praying you're completely over the flu and that the rest of the family stays healthy. Love ya.
