turning on comment moderation...

until i can figure out how to ward off the Chinese spammers that keep leaving filty links in my comment section.

i tried word verification for a while, but that didn't work.

anywho.
all the comment moderation means is that when you leave me a comment, it won't show up right away. i'll get an email and have to approve your comment before it publishes.

annoying, i know.

but i did remove the word verification so it isn't so tedious to comment again.

  1. I have comment moderation in my blogs too. I've been able to delete tons of spam and bad comments left for other scrapbookers :S

  2. Is that what those comments (that I get) are with the blue squares instead of words??? If I can't read it, I don't click it! I have a bunch in comment moderation that I have to delete.

  3. Sorry to hear that you're having issues with spam. Hope this works for you.

  4. alison, the comments i'm getting are from a username that is chinese character. then the comment they leave looks something like a chinese proverb or something you'd see on a fortune cookie. and it is followed by a large number of dots, like this ................. and the dots are hyperlinked to a website.

thank you for taking time to connect with me in this space! i will do my best to leave comments answering any questions you may ask. if you are commenting on an older post and you dont see your comment publish right away it is because I have comments set to be approved before publishing on any blog posts older than 10 days old due to a recent influx of comment spammers. i will see your comment, approve it and reply to you....if it isnt spam. xoxo :)
