- i got what turned out to be a three day stomach flu (??) on friday. or bad food or something. blech.
- ended up completely missing my cousin's wedding. (i feel like such a dolt!)
- missed my friday night workout and my saturday morning nutrition meeting too. :(
but on the plus side, the new medication adjustments that my doctor made last week have improved my pain levels, dramatically.
so much so, that last night at my workout, i walked nearly 2 1/2 miles in 58 minutes---now, i know that's not far/fast, BUT, every workout prior to this, my right leg was shooting searing pain & going limp at approx. 20 minutes in. but, last night, i was able to vary the incline up to 8.0 & speed (over 3.0) throughout and had absolutely no pain for a non-stop 58 minutes. :)
did you read that!?!??? NO PAIN. none. unbelievable!
i'm thrilled....and still kinda in shock.
it may never happen again, so i had to get a picture. HA.
i've had one other workout session where i had similar results, but i clearly remember the following session. :( i made it 15-20 minutes before falling off the back of the treadmill because i couldn't get my leg to move. so not cool.
i'm praying that doesn't happen again.
i'll just keep putting "one foot in front of the other."
sing it with me now...
Put one foot in front of the other,
And soon you'll be walking cross the floor,
Put one foot in front of the other,
And soon you’ll be walking out the door.
You never will get where you’re going
If you never get up on your feet
Come on, there’s a good tail wind blowing
A fast walking man is hard to beat
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking out the door.
that's enough of that, LOL.
i've got nothing else today. just some teaser peeks at a work in progress i have on my studio tables using the October The Story Matters kit. fun stuff, eh?
SUPER cute peek!!
