a few more scrapbooking shares...

you've probably noticed i've been feeling extra quiet lately. 'tis the season for that to be the case.

i'm up to my eyeballs in scrapbooking assignments. some i can share and some i can't quite yet.

maybe by thursday i'll have a chance to share all the fabulousness that we got to experience during our Thanksgiving break.

until then, feast your eyes upon some more projects using Little Yellow Bicycle's newest collection - Savor!

on "You Spice It Up" i wanted to show the versatility of the Savor collection by creating a non-food related project with the papers & embellishments.

everything on this layout, with the exception of the chipboard letters spelling "you", is from the collection. those letters are older basicgrey alphabets.

i cut the leaf accent from the Tomato Bisque paper using my Silohuette machine. :)

and the important detail shot of the journaling, if you're interested in that kind of thing. clicking on the image will open it up larger in another window so you can read it better. and dangit. i just noticed a few typos. grrrrrrr.

and this layout.....i'm not entirely thrilled with. there's a few reason, but primarily because i don't like handwriting on my layouts. it's the perfectionist in me. so i rarely do it. and when i do, i never like it. but i kinda felt like the recipe needed to be hand-written. hahaha.

anywho. again, everything is from the Savor collection except the pearls and the doilies. the doilies are actually from the Clothesline collection that was released early this year.

i jazzed up some of the fabric pieces by adding glitter and pearls to them. if you look close you'll see it on the apron.

i haven't put away my Savor collection just yet. i'm working on another video project featuring this collection to be released mid-late december. i'll keep you posted.

oh, the chocolate chip cookie recipe can be found here. after making them once, i'd bet you throw away every other chocolate chip cookie recipe you have and replace it with this one. seriously, the BEST! :)

thank you for taking time to connect with me in this space! i will do my best to leave comments answering any questions you may ask. if you are commenting on an older post and you dont see your comment publish right away it is because I have comments set to be approved before publishing on any blog posts older than 10 days old due to a recent influx of comment spammers. i will see your comment, approve it and reply to you....if it isnt spam. xoxo :)
