we spent the evening at Toys R Us with spidergirl searching the entire store trying to find a suitable gift (in her mind) to spend her birthday money on.because it was her birthday trip, they announced her birthday over the intercom, gave her a birthday crown and a birthday balloon. around every corner we turned people were wishing her a happy birthday.
what kid doesn't like that kind of attention?
after over an hour of "shopping" she ended up leaving with only a small grow your own sea monkey kit and a package of CrazErasers.
we were also slick enough to snatch a Christmas present for ashlyn without her knowing. SCORE!
