okay, then..........on with the peeking!i got to work with the Bachelorette and Girl's Night Out Collections. these first ones are from the Bachelorette collection.
but, as you can see with the card above, the collection is very versatile and parts and pieces can go together and make a generic girly project without screaming "these products are from a bachelorette collection."
my new favorite embellishment that they've released is right there on that card. they are called the Swirl Heart Brads. here's a closer look.
here's the sticker sheet from the Bachelorette collection so you can see what i was working with. all the new products can be found here at the karen foster design website: New Products.
i love the boldness of the text on the black with hints of plum mixed with the softness of the buttery yellow and hints of limey green. this collection is SOOOO easy to scrap with....it practically scraps itself.
i gotta thank my sister for all the photos....ahhhhhh, to be young again! (hi kristy!)
out of all the products that have come and gone from the karen foster catalog over the years i've designed for them, i'm so stoked that they've never let the scrapper's floss disappear! i *adore* that stuff! it comes in these little 'dental floss-like' containers but now it also comes in a larger quantity on a rolled spool. i can't resist adding it to nearly every project!
here's a look at the Girl's Night Out collection. you'll notice that the color combo is very similar, but it holds a bit more pink than plum colors.
the sticker sheet:
fun, right!?
so, on this card, it's hard to see, but i used the brad bars and strung on some crystal beads and left them loose. so they move back and forth. it just adds a little playfulness to the card. my other favorite embellishment are those coil brads.
they come in every color you could imagine and are packaged in these cute little cork-topped test tubes.....like you'd use in chemistry class. i *adore* them.
