smashed flowers are quite charming.

just sharing another scrappy happy card put together while cleaning off the 'ole desk. (aka: my lame attempt at blogging)

this one is a fun mix of scraps leftover from a The Story Matters kit, some Studio Calico dress pattern flowers, some Little Yellow Bicycle Twig collection and the ever so delightful SRM stickers.

for the flower embellishment you see there, i just used took two of these Studio Calico dress pattern flowers......
smashed them flat and stuck a brad through the center of them. i looooove the look.

these flowers are so versatile. they take mist very well if you want to change up the color or you can even take them apart by snipping the center thread and use them as a border strip.

and of course, i finished off the card with my favorite sentiment stickers by SRM. these particular stickers came from the We Got Your Sticker - Thanks set.


i looooove it because you rarely find sentiment stickers with text in a color other than black. this set has black, white, ANd brown. seriously awesome.
