all week on the Little Yellow Bicycle blog, the design team members have been featuring projects using the Splash and Escape collections along with custom epoxy shape tools provided by Epiphany Crafts! they sent our team tools, we sent their team Splash and Escape. then we all went to town working our magic!
to finish off the week LYB is hosting a mini blog hop with a chance to win some brand new Little Yellow Bicycle products!
Epiphany sent me the Square 25 Shape Studio along with the Square 25 Bubble Caps. this little tool allowed me to turn any patterned paper i wanted into an epoxy shape and was absolutely effortless! i was impressed.
so, i grabbed my Splash 6x6 paper pad and went to town creating the epoxy square shapes you see here on the card. made them all in less than 2 minutes---and most of that time was spent choosing and tearing out the papers from the 6x6 pad.
along the top edge there, i used two different strips of the vellum tape. one is stuck directly onto the card base, while the other was pleated along the way. LOVE being able to do that with these strips. the strips are much heavier than vellum, but still carry that transparent quality and have strong enough adhesive to allow you to manipulate it and it stays in place when you do so without adding extra glue dots. PERFECT!
so, there you have it! Little Yellow Bicycle + Epiphany! i haven't created anything earth-shattering here, i know, but what until you see what the other girls have created! WOW! i still can't believe how Heather changed up the banner shape from Epiphany to be more on the trend.
hop on over to each of their blogs to see the awesomeness!
