this is Spidergirl, captured in her infamous "no fair...." stance. she has it mastered. she's really quite a pleasant child to be around----a blessing indeed---unless she's got strep or an ear infection or a fever---which is almost ALWAYS! because, then, she's just difficult to deal with because she's miserable. (she was diagnosed with strep the day before this picture was taken.)
- it's no fair that she's had strep 5 times since Fall.
- it's no fair that she's been on 12 antibiotics in the past 12 months.
- it's no fair that she's been on 25 antibiotics in the past 3 years.
- it's no fair that she has allergies and can't enjoy having a pet dog or cat.
- it's no fair that she's already had surgery to place tubes and remove her adenoids.
- it's no fair that all of our extra money in our budget goes straight the healthcare industry.
- it's no fair as her momma, that i have to see my baby so miserable all the time.
- it's no fair that she has hearing loss from all these repeat infections.
- it's no fair that we now have to take her to speech therapy because of said hearing loss.
- it's no fair that she has to have a camera shoved down her throat to examine her voicebox to try to diagnose her hoarseness.
- it's NO FAIR that we have to go in for another surgery soon(ish) and my baby will be miserable during a week-long recovery from a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy revision.
My son has had strep 3 times since January and I thought that was bad. So sorry for Spidergirl. Good luck with the surgery. I didn't know that strep could cause hearing loss.
