today i'm realizing that there is only 3 more days of summer camp for ashlyn before school starts. WOW. where did the summer go!?
she's definitely had one incredibly fun summer----way more fun that i could ever pack into one summer, that's for sure. it's been full of swimming and field trippin' a lot with daycare. very action packed, but still a healthy mix of down time (free play) and arts & crafts (her favorite).
every monday/thursday afternoon she spent 3 hours swimming at the coolest indoor waterpark that is outrageously expensive to go to as a family just once---let alone twice a week every week. she never had to worry about missing her swimtime if the weather didn't cooperate since it was an indoor waterpark. lucky kid.

then, every wednesday they went on a trip somewhere local, but many places we've never explored as a family. i joined her on the trip to the Indian Caverns and doug went along to the Airforce Museum.
she got to experience, Rainbow Lanes Bowling, United Skates of America, and Rising Park, along with the........

a busy, full, fun-filled summer. it's going to be hard to adjust to this back to school stuff come monday. especially considering this week we've slept in later and later with each passing day. Oy.
Wow! That sounds like some summer camp!!
