not long ago, i decided to start selling some of my handmade goods in an online shop all my own called beautifully Handmade. you can read this post for why i came to the decision to open shop, but long story short....it's all for raising money to help pay the medical bills after insurance that we accumulate having two chronically ill kiddos.
i've put together a little giveaway of some of these handmade goodies because you're all such awesome readers! i appreciate each and every one of you who take time out to visit this little space of mine. so, thank you.
you know the drill. leave your name in the comments and if you feel like sharing, tell me what memorial weekend traditions you have. but just a "pick me" is cool too.
good luck! i hope you win! (and if not, you know where to find more where that came from....right here!) i'll pick a winner Sunday morning.
Wow, you have some really neat looking flowers. Lets see plans for this memorial day, that is easy, graduation parties and more. We have close to 30 parties to attend this weekend. At least I don't have to cook
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous. I will go and see your shop and purchase a few before they sell out.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are gorgeous! Thanks for the chance to win :) My memorable Memorial Days were spent with my family at the lake - when all the cousins were little :)
ReplyDeleteOh, pick me! Pick me! I have no traditions for this weekend ... just relaxation!
ReplyDeleteMy birthday is around this time of year - so Memorial Day weekend normally consists of birthday parties. :) This year I'm going ROLLER SKATING with some friends, just like I did 22 years ago. I'm quite excited. Off to check out your flowers...
ReplyDeletePick me pick me!
ReplyDeleteThe only real memorial day tradition is dinner or something either sunday or monday with my mom...
this year.. we are doing that on sunday.. but my bf is up and we are going to work on my back yard.. trying to get it cleaned up and looking pretty... so much for relaxing! lol.
these are really cute!! :-)
I have just recently found your blog! Your flowers are gorgeous! Love the colors. Besides a family cookout, the other tradition in my family for the Memorial Day weekend is to celebrate my sister's B-Day, which is today!
ReplyDeleteLove your flowers!! we longer have traditions since the kids are getting married so we need to start new ones and to include the in-laws.
ReplyDeletethose are too darn cute. I will be celebrating my 24th wedding anniversary. Hope to do some scrapbooking. We shall see. And since I have to work monday i'll probably cook on the grill sunday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! The sheet music mum reminds me of my mother. We always spend memorial day together, we visit graves of loved ones who have passed and leaving flowers - cut fresh from the garden if they're up, or the store-bought mums if we have had a year like this one (snow last week)!
ReplyDeleteThen we set up a pool in the yard for the kiddos (that's new this last year, since my siblings and I just blessed her with grandkids) and have a BBQ with family and friends. Pretty laid-back, but it's something I count on.
Oh babe, they're *gorgeous!!* :-) They'll sell in no time, for sure xx
ReplyDeleteIt's not a tradition but this weekend my son is playing baseball in a woodbat tournament.--Sat, Sun and Monday will be the championship game---SO hopefully on Monday I will be at the ballfield!
ReplyDeleteYou make such wonderful embellishments!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess our only memorial day tradition is to bar-b-que...if the weather cooperates. This year it looks like rain :(
These are lovely! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteThe closest thing we have to a tradition for Memorial Day is my husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary (sometimes). We were married 15 years ago over Memorial Day weekend, so we try to go out to dinner and/or a movie. This year, we're car shopping (darn a/c is on the fritz!) so that probably nixes a nice dinner out, but at least we'll have an extra day w/ the kids. Hopefully, car shopping won't be a new tradition. ;)
We don't really have a Memorial Day tradition. More often than not, my husband works the holiday weekends. We do try to make time to visit my father-in-law's grave at some point over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love your little flowers! They are just too cute!
WoW! These fabric yo-yo are so pretty and colorful. So CUTE!
ReplyDeletePick me! It's just a same old weekend for us - just longer :)
ReplyDeleteThese are sooo gorgeous, Tania! I love them all!!! AS far as Memorial Day, we don't have really any traditions, but tomorrow it's going to be really HOT, so we are headed to a day at the beach! Have a super weekend!
ReplyDeleteNo real traditions here either other than spending some family time (usually outdoors biking or hiking). Great flowers! I esp. love the multi colored ones!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you I took your Embellishment class and got hooked on the yo-yo's. I am super proud because my friend Kelly put some I made in the kits she sells in her online store and they all sold. You're a good teacher-thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog! Cute and whimsical best describes your creations. Pick me! *wink*
