of the four themes we're sharing today, i got to work with two of them---Easter and Upland Hunting.

my favorite paper in the Easter collection is this one here. it's just got a groovy-licious feel to it and can be cut apart and used in so many different ways. that sun just makes me giddy.

so, for this first project, i cut out the words 'easter bunnies' and use it for a policy envelope sized card, then just layered stickers along with eggs and such cut from the other papers. topped it off with a little glitter glue and called it good.don't the colors in this sticker sheet just make you happy! i love that it is a happy mix of easter pastels and bold colors. i'm all about bold colors.

the stickers made decorating this pint-sized paint can super simple! the top green cardstock on the can was stamped with green ink using a brand-new pencil eraser as the stamp, then layered with patterned papers and several of the stickers placed around the can. i finished it off with a simple scrapper's floss bow and stuffed some paper basket filler/grass inside.

here's that groovy paper again. i couldn't help but to accent the center of the sunshine with the crazy coil brads. i looooooooove those things! on this layout, the floss wraps all the way around and then is tacked down with a few of the brads.
but on this layout, instead of wrapping the floss around the photo and creating extra bulk, i put the brads through and left a little gap before opening the prongs so i could wrap the floss around and "lace" them before tying the bow. there is a charm hanging from the floss---kinda hard to see. clicking the picture will open it larger.

here's the charms. aren't they cute!?

so, that's easter. now here's Upland Hunting. what's Upland Hunting, you ask? i haven't a clue, LOL! i just make things look pretty with paper and glue. i don't claim to know a thing about some of these themes. LOL. as you might have guessed, these from this theme are all made with stock photos.

i'm sure there are many of you who can enlighten me on upland hunting and what it's all about, and where this kind of thing is popular.

for what it's worth, i'm in looooooooooove with this paper from the collection! it's gorgeous, right?

i imagine it could be used with camping photos or for those who live in the country and get to experience the wide open harvest sunsets.
