Video Tutorial: Sweet Summertime Cards & Embellishments

i'm back today with another project/tutorial using the Sweet Summertime collection from Little Yellow Bicycle. i absolutely *adore* this collection. the sunshiney yellow & red had me at hello. :)

the whole collection just screams summer! loooooooove it.

this time around instead of using the collection for a layout, i've used one embellishment from the collection as inspiration to create a slew of other similar looking flowers.

the inspiration? the flowers seen on the Favorite Pieces Sticker sheet.
yep, those are the ones up there on the top right-hand side. :)

by using parts and pieces from the Sweet Summertime collection, like the Dimensional Pop-Up Dots, Flower Button Dots, Jewel Stickers and patterned paper with some cardstock, i came up with several combinations of my own custom flower embellishments----and it was soooo easy!

you can watch this quick 5 minute video i made showing the products i used and how in just a few simple steps you can get the same results. :)

once i had them made, i had fun putting them to use the four cards shown below! as usual, i've put together a free PDF download with complete supply list & instructions for all four cards you see in this post.

you may click the photo to open the image larger in a another screen if you want to see them larger.
