a gift idea featuring Little Yellow Bicycle's Swoon collection

 

a few of the Little Yellow Bicycle design team members have taken the Swoon collection and worked our magic on some gift ideas for a bride & groom.

staying true to my bright colorful style, i decided i wanted to put together a little album of sorts for the bride to be able to write love notes to her love, adding in bright pops of orange and lime green along the way.

(sidenote: if i could have my wedding all over again, i'd definitely go for the grey/orange/lime color combo. LOVE it! ya know, in case you were wondering, LOL.)

while the bride is welcome to use it how she sees fit, the album can be gifted with a note to the bride instructing her to take a few moments of quiet time each week, during her first year of marriage, to reflect on all the qualities she adores in her groom and then gift him with these notes of love on their first wedding anniversary.

it becomes somewhat of an open love letter to her groom. since the album, constructed from a few core pieces from chipboard album kit, is bound together with extra large book rings, this album can be something that can be added to for years and years to come.

the inside cardstock pages are simply cut to a measurement of 3 ¼” x 8” using a contrasting, yet coordinating, color of cardstock. i can’t even imagine what a treasure something like this would be for children and grandchildren to stumble upon in years to come. the thought of it excites me!
